Tian Ji (天机星)

The Intelligence Star

The Tian Ji star is a planner star. This star in the Ziwei Doushu is considered to represent the wood element. The nature of wood is that they like to plan things, so people who have this star in their Self sector have their brains in a constant state of motion. This can be said to be both good and bad at the same time. It is said to be good because the brain is sharp, but the bad side is that they like to change their minds. People with this star also tend to have anxiety or excessive worry. What most people worry about is when what is planned cannot become a reality, so they are easily afraid of their own thoughts even though what they are worried about is not relevant in time and reality (living in their own minds). This star is resourceful so they are automatically suitable to work as planners and analyzers. When doing business they can come up with many suggestions and ways to solve their daily problems.

A person with a Tian Ji star will be very good when in the Yin or Shen position because it will form stars formation called Ji Yue Tong Liang (机月同梁). People with this arrangement have a comfortable and stable life. Often such a person is suited to work in a government bureaucracy or live a career in a large corporation. Another stars formation called Ju Ji Tong Ling (巨机同臨) only occurs when the stars Tian Ji and Ju Men are in the Mao position. People with this structure have real skills in politics and government.
