Wen Chang star is an intellectual or academic star. This star has a metal element unlike the Wen Qu star which has a water element, therefore this star is considered to be harder in nature than the Wen Qu star. When this star in the Self sector, they have a enthusiasm for education or academics, but the disadvantage is that they tend to like to be alone. A sector with a Wen Chang star signifies a struggle before achieving success, just like a student who has to work hard to study before get achievement in school. People under this star usually appear to be educated and have high morals, but when this star transform into Hua Ji, it indicates problems in their studies, unable to focus on learning or even easily depressed.

The Wen Qu star has the same nature as the Wen Chang star, the difference is that because this star is water element, it has a softer nature than Wen Chang, therefore their studies are mostly in non-formal fields, such as art and culture. People under this star are also good at speaking, have a talent for oratory, have a passion for music, drawing, dance or have an interest in philosophy as well. But the drawback is that people under this star also like to be alone. But this kind of person has a high artistic spirit, and is usually a romantic and good-looking person. When this star transform into Hua Ji, it indicates a problem with one’s talents, their nature becomes quirky or eccentric and will usually affect their personal life with their partner.

The stars formation associated with these two stars is a formation called Wen Gui Wen Hua (文桂文华). This condition occurs when these two stars are simultaneously in the Self sector in the Wei position and the person is born in the hour of Mao (05:00-06:59 AM). Or these two stars are simultaneously in the Self sector in the Chou position and the person is born in the hour of You (17:00 – 18:59 PM). This stars formation is considered auspicious because this kind of person is very clever, likes to learn, has talents, and usually has talents in certain disciplines such as economics, literature, medical studies, and because of their talent they have a high position in society and can prosper because of their talent. However, this stars formation is only specific to men, while women who have this stars formation usually have a bad character, they are good-looking, but that’s why they are easy to attract the opposite sex and tend to take advantage of their partners.
